How extraordinary! - I think I was down on the beach that day as it looks very similar to one of the evenbts I saw last summer. I often see people paragliding or land-yachting from my apartment and on that occasion I htink I saw people up to something and rushed down on to the beach as it looked a bit more exciting than the usual.
Looked to me as though he was trying to carry too much luggage on his back!
