Ayeright has been reading Rob Gibson's' blog:
No matter what your views on the current conflict, Rob Gibson (MSP) makes a very poignant observation on his blog
‘The Gaza Strip is not much bigger than the Black Isle near Inverness. Respectively they are home to one million three hundred thousand souls. The latter is home to 9,000.’
As I gaze across to the Sutors and the Back Isle from Nairn it is hard to imagine over a million folk trying to live there, and even more difficult to know what it is like to be bombed and shelled every day with no safe haven. I just hope a solution is found very, very soon
