The IC has covered another controversial Nairn issue this week with an article and a leader on the subject of popular discontent that has arisen over the proposed name change of Maggot Road to Riverside Drive. The Courier backs the people of Nairn, ' We stand four square behind the townsfolk's cause,' they say.
Meanwhile elsewhere in the Courier Sandy Park is quoted as saying: 'The decision is not set in stone. It has become quite an emotive subject in Nairn and the council has to listen to the people.'
Keep up the pressure Gurnites, they are having to listen now.
