The Gurn has once or twice mentioned how Lochloy Caravan Park is the unsung jewel in the Nairn Tourism crown. Around 30,000 people a year pass through the park and quite a few of those visitors take a walk up the street and spend a pound or two.
Perhaps a few Gurnites have already come across the Caravan 109 blog, yes it is a blog that is to encourage folk to book that particular caravan but it does a good job in promoting Nairn as a tourist destination too. The blog is well worth a look, they've even got a picture of the first duckings. Well done Caravan 109, you're probably doing more for Nairn than the combined forces of Visit Scotland's finest!
God I am so turned on by the idea of a caravan! Mmmmm!
