Breaking news. Wild day.com are moving into Woolies this evening and will be opening soon for a short period. Recently the roving entity went into the shop formerly known as Pulse for a short stay too, since then that building will shortly be opening up as a jewellers. Good to see something happening in Woolies, even if it will be short-lived.
If wild day.com can make short-term use of Woolies old premises, why couldn't other enterprises do so thereafter?
ReplyDeleteLikewise if the police can temporarily use one of the old buildings on the Somerfield site, and Tilda's filmfest could take over the Ballerina, why can't other empty buildings be utilised too? Having them brought into use has to be more sensible than leaving them abandoned and derelict.
Any takers? Who should they call?
"Who should they call?"
ReplyDeleteGood question - the empty properties are not on the market so far as I'm aware.
Look up Anonymous, huge board gives details of for sale/to let above woolies building!
ReplyDeleteI think there are a lot more empty properties in Nairn than the old Woolies. :)
