Perhaps regular readers will remember the following wee snippet from the Courier posted on this blog on the 14th of April:
'The Inverness Courier states:
'SUPERMARKET chain the Co-op will announce plans for its Nairn Store later this month. '
The Courier details that the Co-op halted the plans until the outcome of the Sainsbury's inquiry. The Courier goes on to say:
'...It continues to take time to consider, despite stating it would come to a conclusion last month.
"We anticipate being able to make an announcement by the end of April," said a Co-op spokeswoman.'

Nothing yet and the Gurn also understands from a Highland Council source that the Council are not too happy with some elements of the first design put forward for the Sainsbury store at Balmakeith. A River Community Council source also indicated recently that Sainsburys will perhaps be coming to Nairn towards the end of this month to attend a meeting of some kind, if we hear more details we'll post them.
