Water was coming out of the drains onto the street outside the Seaman's hall in Harbour Street. I wonder why there aren't any one way valves to stop this happening?
Anon, worth reporting that to the Council, that shouldn't happen. Not much point having flood defences if the drains let water back up, have seen that myself further down harbour street before but wasn't here this time.
The salt marshes by Culbin were totally flooded. Instead of a big pond draining via a stream to a sea, there was just one big mass of water with a small island sticking out. Even the walking path across the face of Culbin was covered. Quite a sight from within the woods themselves.
