The Gurn uses the term "usual suspects" as a term of endearment for those who prominently strive for the betterment of the Common Good of all in our community. One of our regular readers points us to a video on Youtube which is said to demonstrate how that phrase originally came into common currency. "The start of a beautiful friendship. "
Our correspondent has been doing some research on Youtube and also points us in the direction of a video that could perhaps be described as an argument for a single Community Council in Nairn.

A single council would in many ways be desirable but I don't think the West CC would fit in with some of their current thinking
