Ha Ha was only a few month ago i commented on the amount of cafes, bakers, hair dressers ect ect and here come's another one.Great stuff ! or are we just a bunch of gossips who like a coffee ?
As you get older you tend to question whether you believe the words of politicians just like your faith in Santa may have been rocked some years ago
It's easy to make verbal promises but much harder to get the now cyclical population to believe them, and I for one didn't believe for a minute the prediction by a certain councillor that the streetscaping would make one jot of difference to the footfall in our High Street
Nothing but hot air best forgotten, mind you, another election about to hit us so watch out for some more hollow promises
Yes a councillor did say that, and as far as I can remember it was on the back of £1M being spent on the streetscaping and also the money (whatever happened to it) for painting shop fronts
Dont worry Mosh will chat to Olive Oil & Superman & will have plenty to talk about with these two, plus the friends who will drop in on a regular basis & I hope that includes you " all ears" as the saying goes Its good to talk,
What a lovely cafe filling station would make for the Co--op and with some where to park and watch the world go by or wait for a bus or would that also be a eyesore??
At last, a cafe in Nairn
ReplyDeleteMore cafes than pubs now?
ReplyDeleteTeas, glorious teas, scones, crumpets and pancakes.

Did a councillor say that Bust not Boom, could you pin it down to any particular Nairnshire issue?

'Chat' (chaat) is also a Hindi word for snacks, so maybe some authentic Indian food coming Nairn's way?
