And now for something completely different...




Outdoors the rain continues and any candidates will indeed be very soggy today if they are still knocking the doors. Has one of the candidates switched sides mid-stream however? Murray drew the Gurn's attention to posters that have appeared in the Jubilee Bridge area. Must be mad to put out posters for a party that's not standing in the election?
Meanwhile the river is high today and there is a SEPA flood alert for the River Nairn.

    Seems OK to me, after all the Tories are standing and they haven't managed to show us a candidate in the flesh let alone a poster or a leaflet

    Fit aboot us Quines can we nae have a party as weel tae sort oot aw the problems thats ganging on in Oor Toon,I bet my old khaki bloomers if I cude of stood in for that Tory wifey that couldna mak it tae The Hustings I wid have set the heather on fire[but would tak heed that it didnae upset the mole population] up on that pulpit next tae that awfae fine mannie The Rev Manders, but i wid have to declare an intrest in The Masons as my Luvver works we stanes building hooses roond aboot The North, ach I ken its muckle late noo, but maybe next time roond I will stand for the cooncil, aw the best tae the acht thats standing.
