As a former Nairnite who left to live in England, in 1968, I recognise Pat Lobban who was my maths teacher for class 1A2 in 1966. I remember that he was a very keen sportsman and was involved with the Nairn Ski Club taking a couple of coaches of Academy pupils up to the Cairngorms each Saturday in the winter. A truly great teacher. Another favourite teacher of mine was Hugh Wilson who taught history. I recall that he was an enthusiastic sailor. His daughter, Gill, was in my class.
