Snowfall
This time last week we were basking in the 20C heat. What a difference a week makes!
One of the dead elm trees behind the cemetery fence between the Jublilee and Railway bridges came down overnight with the combined weight of snow and ivy.
This is probably the most snow we've had all winter! It seems to be very wet and heavy and I notice a lot of bushes are almost touching the ground and the telephone wires are very low near where I live.
Fantastic photo of the lamppost! Snow photography is a bit of a nightmare, I can never got the colours right, but the colours came out brilliantly here. :)

ReplyDeleteI like the time just before sunset on snowy days where there seems to be a touch of blue all over the snowscapes - in the pictures anyway :-)
