After the storm surge on Saturday, Sunday was such a different day. Calm, sunny and milder. Literally hundreds of Nairnites went down for a stroll along the prom to enjoy the change in the weather and to inspect the damage done by the high tide. Pictures below.

ReplyDeleteThere were lots of photographers on Saturday and Sunday, many of them did not have cars.
ReplyDeleteRoad was closed to pedestrians on Sunday. It's always closed to vehicles !

ReplyDeleteHighland Council have a right to drive anywhere in Nairn, in order to carry out their duties.
DeleteMaybe it's suggested that Inverness based vehicles shouldn't be allowed into Nairn, but only Nairn based Highland Council vehicles only. Keeping Nairn Council maintaining Nairn only.
