Nairn Traffic Issues - Transport Scotland churning out standard formula responses to Nairn residents?

Gurnites will recall that we recently published a copy of a letter received by a regular reader who had complained to Transport Scotland about the recent massive delays caused by problems with the traffic lights. Here it is again for those that haven't seen it yet. Another reader then told us that he too had received an identical reply.  specialists are the Westies and they have been campaigning vigourously on local traffic issues. They too recently received a very similar communication in response to specific questions they have asked - copy here (note the similarities in the text). In response to the response the Westies have replied with, to this observer, a more robust letter, expressing their disappointment with the letter and seeking further clarification on matters - copy here.
