A Highland Highlife press release via Highland Council:
"Nairn Leisure Centre customers can look forward to a significantly improved health and fitness experience in the New Year as a programme of refurbishment and improvements begin today (4 November). The fitness suite and viewing area will close on 4 November to facilitate the start of the work. All other facilities will remain open.
On Monday 9 December, the leisure centre will close completely so that essential structural work can take place. The leisure centre will reopen for swimmers on Monday 23 December and will operate slightly reduced Christmas hours. The new expanded and refurbished fitness suite is due to reopen on Monday 13 January complete with brand new up to the minute exercise equipment."
