Mystery object appears on Mill Road


Murd Dunbar sends us this image of an object that appeared on Mill Road today. Do any Gurnites have any suggestions as to what it might be?

    A road usage counter for vehicles, to monitor usage and consider money for future repair works, or a slow down sign :-)

    the only PEACE I require is to get the mess on the railway brae sorted. Have also heard possibly they are monitoring traffic so they can use Millroad and Queens parka alternative access to and from Nairn South

    The attached link would suggest that they are radar pods for measuring average traffic speed. Not speed traps as such.
