Inbhir Narainn or sometimes with an accent Inbhir Nàrainn is an older form with the use of the genitive. The use of the genitive is in a state of shift and is on its way out in spoken and sometimes written language in some cases. This is often reflected in official translations these days - as in the new sign at the Swimming Pool - image here http://inbhirnarann.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/soidhne-da-chananach-ur-ann-inbhir.html
@ Road Runner, I don't think the local paper could possibly publish over a thousand images. What they have achieved however is a list of all the competitors and their times in both runs and that was an impressive 495 competitors in total.
Craisg with all due respect I fully understand that the local newspaper is very restricted to space & does not have the facility to publish loads of images & must be congratulated on their results coverage but as there is so much photo opportunities at the 10k I just felt they could have done so much better {none of the childrens race, none of the fun or charity runners,or the touching moments with those in wheelchairs who completed the run,] me thinks its time to write a letter to the editor.

Great set of fantastic photographs which puts the towns local newspaper to shame.
