Perhaps Highland Council should have given a little more thought to their reply? In could indeed be seen as advice to avoid Nairn at a time when the town centre needs every tourism penny it can get.

So nice to have all that traffic coming through the 30mph villages of Croy Clephanton Cawdor and Auldearn on a sunny day with the kids out to play.
Can't the kids find somewhere else to play other than the road?
