This previous Gurn article gives you an idea of the latest Common Good situation, whereby a reported six-figure sum has been lost to the fund by Highland Council's failure to update a lease correctly. The Chair of Suburban Community Council, Dick Youngson, is quoted in yesterday's Inverness Courier:
"Highland Council has really botched it up. We are short of a six figure sum and we want the equivalent value put back into the Nairn Common Good Fund. We want that money back."
