Posters have appeared in the town centre again on lampposts but what is interesting is that posters and stickers are appearing in quite a few windows all over town. It used to be a popular practice in elections gone by but for the referendum posters in windows seem to be making a comeback. It seems to be solely YES at the moment.
Nice one oh Gurnmeister!!!
ReplyDelete....and those are just the windows at Gurn Towers :o)
ReplyDeleteThe quiet majority are keeping their powder dry.
ReplyDeleteYes I seen an 'A Plant' Van putting up the YES boards on lamp posts, Its a shame, Council have done a great job with hanging baskets along the links and then you see the YES above it! poor Show! I have a photo of them doing it too, not sure who to report them too!!
ReplyDeleteThere were a few NO posters appeared on some High Street lamposts a couple of weeks ago, but these were immediately defaced with Yes stickers, shows some peoples mentality when it comes to the referendum i suppose!

ReplyDelete@anon 10.41 - were they, they were up one day and down the next. A school of thought that they jumped the gun or that it was just a quick in and out for the benefit of the Jim Murphy street soapbox sorry Irn Bru crate gig.
