At their regular meeting on Wednesday night in the URC hall
the River Community Council members decided to donate 10% of their current bank
balance (rounded up to £350) to the Highland Foodbank. Members expressed a desire that they wished
to see their contribution used exclusively in Nairn and Chair Tommy Hogg was
mandated to discuss this with the foodbank.

Would be great Gurnmeister if the other community councils could match what Riverside Community has donated to the local foodbank as it would be of great help and put to good use.
