Facing the prevailing wind and elements?

One of our regular readers, also a regular user of public transport, has suggested to us that the new bus stop on the A96 just at the edge of the Newton Gate houses is sited in such a manner as to be face on to much of what mother nature has to throw at Nairn during her angrier moments. It is a splendid colour however.

Is this just the West Community Council notice board and not a bus stop? Very posh and avant-garde.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone waiting for a bus here!

So let's see now,the bus stops facing the wrong way.The solar bus timetable in the bus station is also facing the wrong way.hence it rarely works. The two clocks on the townhouse don't agree by (about 3 minutes)it goes on and on,

  5. Clearly it's a person trap for the Purple People Eater.......

(There was a song about it played on pirate radio, way way back).

At last a bus shelter at the bottom of the lane. It has been sadly lacking for Achareidh residents going into town. Now that it's finally been erected we can use that bus stop rather than walk to others in bad weather.

I use the bus at least four times a week but only about three or your times a year have I seen the bus even have to stop there.
