The Inverness Courier is reporting that the other plan for South Nairn submitted by Charles Allenby for 250 houses has been withdrawn.
It looks like Mr Allenby and his representatives are awaiting the publication of the Inner Moray Firth Development plan and may be submitting another application in the future however.
The Courier quotes a planning consultant Robert Evans:
"It gives us the opportunity to continue to engage with local people, with Community Councillors. We really have a good relationship with them and we have worked long and hard despite an unfortunate series of events."

ReplyDeleteFor trying to ruin the town
The developers have a right to be in business anon and let's remember that Highland Council seem happy to see bigger developments rather than smaller scale ones which quite a few people in Nairn would rather see.
