The game between the Wee County legends and the supporters down at the Riverside yesterday and the quiz afterwards in Uncle Bob's raised £1295 for charity. The Gurn understands that it could become an annual event too.

ReplyDeleteIs the gurn doing time travel now?
ReplyDeleteNo Just embedded a set of flickr images from elsewhere. Crashing out now but will pass on the 20th not 15th message in the morning.
ReplyDeletere apron anon, that looks like the referee and we suspect it is all to do with a current vein of humour in Scottish Football support circles.
ReplyDelete15 is the year. Helps keep me correct when searching back catalogues of my photographs. Maybe I should put June 2105 to save confusion but maybe I wont.

ReplyDelete@Kenny We can always offer a full refund to anyone one not delighted with the service provided by ourselves or associates such as Cutter Photography :-)
Oh Graisg you and Kenny will always be a cut above the rest raise your head high and rise above them all as you both provide great pictures and news. Would like to see them try and put up there own web page and run it the way you do. I dont think theres any chance of that.
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell me why this was played at the riverside and not at Station Park? The 'Legends' surely deserved to play on their old stamping ground. Aren't they worthy of that? After all they gave their all back in the day. If there is another game next year perhaps the powers that be will see their way to give the 'Legends' the recognition they're due?
