I wonder if the organisers would consider having a later time for this, perhaps lunch time. I know a few folk including myself who would like to participate, but can't manage at that time.
It's a 'strike' not a wee action to be held in your lunch hour. Folk taking part see it as important enough to stop whatever work they should be doing to protest
